Information for authors

REQUIREMENTS layout of papers for publication in the journal «Information systems and technologies»

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The volume of material proposed for publication is measured by pages of text on A4 sheets and contains from 4 to 9 pages; all pages of the manuscript should be continuously numbered.

Only one article of one author can be published in one issue of the journal, including co-authorship.

Postgraduate students are not charged for publishing manuscripts.

Abstracts of all published materials, keywords, information about authors, references will be freely available on the website of the journal and on the website of the Russian Scientific Electronic Library – RUNEB (RSEL) (Russian Science Citation Index).

 

REQUIREMENTS TO THE CONTENT OF A SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE

The scientific article submitted to journals should have the following required items:

• Statement of the problem or task in general;
• Analysis of achievements and publications, which propose a solution to this problem or task, on which the author relies, highlighting the scientific novelty;
• Research part;
• Substantiation of the results;
• Conclusions about this study and prospects for further development of this direction;
• References.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR FORMATING A SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE

• The article should be typed in Times New Roman, size 12 pt with a single interval, the text is justified in width; the paragraph indent is 1.25 cm, the right margin is 2 cm, the left margin is 2 cm, the upper and lower margins are 2 cm.
•  Required items:
  • UDC
  • Title (in Russian and English)
  • Abstract (in Russian and English)
  • Keywords (in Russian and English)
  • References to which the author refers in the text of the article.

 

 TABLES, FIGURES, FORMULAE

• All tables, figures and basic formulae given in the text should be numbered.
• Formulae should be typed in the Microsoft Equation 3.0 formula editor with the following sizes: normal font – 12 pt, large index –10 pt, small index – 8 pt. Formulae embedded as an image are not allowed! Russian and Greek letters, as well as the notation for trigonometric functions are typed in straight font, Latin letters – in italics.
• Figures and other illustrations (drawings, graphs, charts, diagrams, photographs) should be placed immediately after the text in which they are mentioned for the first time. Figures, the number of which should be logically justified, are presented in the form of separate files in the format * .eps (Encapsulated PostScript) or TIF of at least 300 dpi.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT AUTHORS

• At the end of the article the information about the authors should be presented in10 pt in the following sequence: surname, first name, patronymic (bold); institution or organization, academic degree, academic title, position, address, telephone, e-mail (usual font).
• Information about authors is provided in a separate file and must be duplicated in English.
